Spring break is almost here, and for many parents, that means juggling work schedules while trying to find something fun, active, and meaningful for kids to do during those days off. This year, the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts (PSCA) is offering a creative solution that’s guaranteed to get kids moving, laughing, and learning—its Kid’s Day Off Circus Camps.
Designed for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade, these full‑day spring break camps run from 9:00am to 3:00pm and are priced at $95 per day per child. Registration is open now at phillycircus.com, and no prior circus experience—or PSCA enrollment—is required. All kids are welcome.
“Circus Campus is the most unique place in Philadelphia to spend those days off,” said Kitsie O’Neill, Executive Director of PSCA. Instead of another day indoors or glued to a screen, campers get to trade the classroom for a hands‑on, high‑energy environment where they can explore circus arts, build confidence, and make new friends.
Throughout the day, kids will learn real circus skills taught by seasoned instructors, including aerial sling, static trapeze, aerial fabric, wire walking, juggling, plate spinning, rolling globe, tumbling, and clowning. The schedule also includes quiet reading time, group games, and creative play, giving campers a healthy balance of movement and rest. Campers should bring a hearty lunch and snacks to fuel a full day of fun.
For families with busy schedules, PSCA is also offering flexible care options this spring. Parents can add after care from 3:00–6:00pm for $35/day, or extended care from 6:00–7:00pm for $15/day, making it easier to manage the workday while kids stay engaged in a safe, supportive environment.
Spring Break Circus Camps run on the following dates:
Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3.
Camps take place at Circus Campus, PSCA’s 30,000+ square‑foot home in the former St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Mt. Airy. With activities held inside and outside—including classes in the 40‑foot‑high sanctuary, a separate gymnasium, classrooms, and expansive outdoor green space—kids have plenty of room to explore and play.
Recognized as a Best of Philly winner for kids’ classes, the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts is the region’s center for contemporary circus education, offering year‑round classes, camps, workshops, and performances for all ages.
Parents can register now at phillycircus.com, email info@phillycircus.com, or call (215) 849‑1991. This spring break, let kids run off to the big top—and come home with new skills, big smiles, and unforgettable memories.
