Shopa Davey VFW Post 6082 Auxiliary will sponsor a porketta sandwich sale fundraiser on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the post home, 123 Electric St., Peckville. The event is open to the public. Preorders are suggested by calling Peggy at 570-335-1197 or the post home at 570-383-0501. Each porketta sandwich is $5, available from 9 a.m. until sold out. More than 475 fresh porketta sandwiches are available for purchase.
