Multiple dead after western Pennsylvania vehicle fire

YUKON, Pa. (WHTM) — A fiery crash in western Pennsylvania claimed multiple lives overnight.

The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office said multiple people were found dead in a burning vehicle around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

This was on Creek Road near Stone Lane in Sewickley Township, southeast of Pittsburgh.

A driver found a single vehicle involved in a crash aflame.

Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire, finding multiple victims dead inside the vehicle, the coroner’s office said. The exact number was not provided.

State troopers are investigating along with the coroner’s office.
