BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Inside Bethlehem’s Wind Creek, the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association (GLVADA) is revving up its engines.
“This initiative is to help the community understand all that GLVADA does and how much it gives back to the community,” said Sarah Dams, Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association.
It is the inaugural Cars and Kids because we CARe Gala, supporting children’s charities across our area.
This comes amid the Lehigh Valley Auto Show.
“We cannot wait to celebrate tonight. We’re going to have the community here and we’re going to be celebrating the nonprofits that are receiving their grant checks tonight,” said Dams.
It is a fun-filled night of dancing and some pretty cool items marketing director Sarah Dams said can be yours.
“This is our first silent auction as well to go with the gala.”
The silent auction features everything from staycations to an autographed jersey by the Lehigh Valley’s own Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, and that is not all.
“We have some beautiful glass art, a lot of it has been donated from the Banana Factory,” said Dams.
More than 100 people are attending the inaugural event.
“It’s come together beautifully and it kind of supports the idea that this is meant to happen right in this community,” said Dams.
