Tamaqua Middle School students are participating in the Berks-Schuylkill “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” video contest for the 10th year.
Northeast Prestressed Products LLC is the manufacturer that the team connected with this year. Students created a two-and-a-half-minute video featuring the manufacturer. They learned about all the aspects of creating a video, from researching, producing, editing, and marketing to learning about the concrete bridge manufacturing process.
Voting for the videos will take place on March 25, 26, and 27 at https://www.whatssocool.org/contests/berks-schuylkill.
Awards will be given for various categories, with the top prize being the Viewers’ Choice Award. A special ceremony will be held on April 14 at the DoubleTree in Reading to present the awards.
