An information session was held on Saturday to help community members find ways to keep their bills manageable as everyday costs continue to rise.

The event, the Affordability Crisis Emergency Meeting, was hosted by the Erie County United at the Booker T. Washington Center.

Its goal was to provide insight into why the cost of essential items, such as gas has been increasing, while also offering practical strategies people can use to adapt.

Organizers focused on helping community members identify realistic, everyday changes that could ease financial pressure and improve budgeting during uncertain economic times.

The meeting was organized by the group Pennsylvania United, which aims to support communities through education and advocacy on pressing financial issues.
