Historian Keith Lockhart is pushing out yet another long-ago sight in Delaware County.
He’s cataloging these markers of the county history, and that’s where your memories and research come in.
This week’s picture is from the Highland Park section of Upper Darby Township. Keith adds, “The picture just says Carol Boulevard. Looking for the block, cross street etc.”

Keith says last week’s postcard illustration from Media was a “tough one.”
There was only one answer, and that was from the brothers McKnight. They told Keith that they walked parts of the borough to come up with this:
“The photo illustration appears to depict E. Front St. in Media. The view looks west from Monroe St. to Jackson St., showing homes on the north side of E. Front St. The addresses of these homes range from 43 to 23 E. Front St., listed from east to west, respectively.” — Dennis & Jack McKnight
