She explains how the commission addresses gender pay equity, with a recent study on women’s employment and an upcoming focus on black women and women of color. King also emphasizes the importance of child care for working mothers and highlights this year’s Women’s History Month theme on women’s roles in sustainability.
She also encourages women to engage in political advocacy and volunteer with the Commission.
