A 36-year-old Scranton woman unlawfully entered a city residence and tried to fight one of her daughters Saturday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded to 1619 Vine St. around 3:33 p.m. for a report of an active domestic dispute, according to a criminal complaint.

After Kristina Parham entered the residence, she tried to fight one of her daughters and swung at another, but missed, police said.

Isyss Kearney had heard banging on the front door and thought it was a DoorDash delivery driver, but came downstairs and saw Parham inside the house, screaming at Harmony Fisher and trying to fight her, officers said.

The rest of the siblings pushed Parham out of the house and locked the door, but she then smashed two front windows before fleeing the scene, according to the criminal complaint.

Parham also began fighting with the officer who located and tried to detain her, police said.

Fisher informed officers Parham had come to the residence because she thought her food stamps card was there and that Fisher was using it, according to the criminal complaint.

Parham hasn’t lived with her children for more than a year, and they had protection-from-abuse orders against her in the past, officers said.

Police charged Parham, 1409 Vine St., with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment.

As of Monday, Parham remained in Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 1 at 10:30 a.m.
