BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A 1990’s rock band formed in San Francisco has been named as the final Musikfest headliner.

Third Eye Blind will perform on Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. on the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza, according to the ArtsQuest website. Gates will open at 6 p.m.

ArtsQuest says tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at musikfest.org.

Since 1997, Third Eye Blind have recorded ten best-selling studio recordings, two live releases and assembled one career retrospective selling 12 million records worldwide, according to ArtsQuest.

Stephan Jenkins leads the band.

St. Lucia will be Third Eye Blind’s special guest. The band is led by husband-and-wife duo South Africa-born Jean-Philip Grobler and Germany-born Patti Beranek.

“Now signed to Nettwerk Records, the group beams out a light of their own and shines brighter than ever,” ArtsQuest said.
