WEST READING, Pa. – Tuesday marks the three-year anniversary of the deadly explosion at the R.M. Palmer chocolate factory that killed seven people and injured 10 others.
On March 24, 2023, an explosion leveled building number 2 at R.M. Palmer’s West Reading facility.
35 minutes before the explosion, Palmer employees reported smelling gas to their supervisors.
Earlier this month, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission filed a complaint against UGI for $2.5 million over the explosion.
