MOOSIC, Pa. — It didn’t feel like baseball weather at PNC Field this morning, but Opening Day for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders is just two weeks away!
Fans will see some improvements to the ballpark, such as a new video board that is almost three sizes bigger than the old one. There are also new food items like a kielbasa cheesesteak. There are 75 home games this season, with plenty of fun events like fireworks, themed nights, and celebrity guests.
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders start the season on the road this Friday against the Buffalo Bisons. Opening day is Tuesday, April 7, against the Durham Bulls.
