LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after authorities said he used social media to communicate with a 14-year-old girl and traveled to Kentucky to pick her up.
Bailey Michael Stouter, 23, was sentenced March 18, 2026, in federal court in the Western District of Kentucky on charges of transportation with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity and online enticement of a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The judge also ordered Stouter to pay $3,000 in restitution and imposed a lifetime term of supervised release.
Prosecutors said Stouter met the girl through social media and arranged to pick her up from her home in Bullitt County, Kentucky, then drive her to Pennsylvania. Authorities said a missing person report was filed and Stouter was later located with the girl in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the case was investigated by the FBI with assistance from the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Danielle M. Yannelli prosecuted the case.
Federal sentences do not include parole.
