Josephine Grandinetti
OBITUARY
Josephine Grandinetti, 94, of Archbald, passed away peacefully at Allied Hospice on Meade Street in Wilkes-Barre surrounded by her family. She was the widow of James Grandinetti who died June 14, 2011. The couple was married for 60 years at the time of his death.
Born in Jessup, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Victoria Labori. She was a graduate of Jessup High School and was employed in the Garment Industry. She resided in Jessup as a child and then moved to Archbald to raise her family. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville.
She enjoyed spending her time cooking and baking for her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by two sons; James Jr. and wife Karen, Collinsville, VA and Gary and wife Mary Ann, Dallas, PA; brother, Ronald Labori, Peckville; four grandchildren, Helen Elkins and husband Aaron; Anthony, Carter and wife Genesis, and Brandon Grandinetti; and three great-grandchildren, Hayes, Aubree and Hadley Elkins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Grandinetti, several sisters and a brother.
The funeral will be on Tuesday, March 24, from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church Street, Jessup with Mass at 10am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Interment, St. John’s Cemetery, Jessup.
