Store clerk hit in the head during smoke shop robbery – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police are responding to a reported robbery at a smoke shop in Montgomery County on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.

A large police presence is in the area of of the 1300 block of Easton Road in Abington, the police department said.

Police told NBC10’s Deanna Durante that a clerk working in the smoke shop was hit in the head while the robbery happened on March 24.

Residents are being urged to avoid the area.

One person is in custody, police told NBC10.

This incident comes just days after gunfire broke out near a basketball court in Abington.
