VIDEO: City leaders gathered inside council chambers at Reading City Hall Tuesday morning to express their gratitude for how far the fire department has come and what lies ahead for the future.
Mayor Eddie Moran, City Council President Donna Reed and some of Reading’s first responders expressed excitement for the new leadership as the transition continues.
City council confirmed Robert Leonard II as the city’s new fire chief, replacing James Stoudt following his retirement earlier this year.
