EASTON, Pa. – Easton City Council received an update on legal challenges surrounding a warehouse Wednesday night at city hall.

Solicitor Joel Scheer indicated oral arguments in an appeal by the developer of the proposed million-square-foot warehouse on Wood Avenue will begin May 5 in the Northampton County Court of Common Please before Judge Paula Roscioli.

A special meeting involving the case before City Council scheduled for March 30 has been canceled permanently.

Developer, Wilson Borough sue Easton over Wood Avenue warehouse

The fight isn’t over for a proposed million-square-foot warehouse on Wood Avenue.

Last December, the city’s planning commission rejected a development plan for the project. The applicant, Easton Wood Ave. Propco LLC (Scannell Properties), is filing a lawsuit against the city, the Easton Planning Commission, along with individual members of the Easton Planning Commission.
