The excitement of the FIFA World Cup won’t just be something you can experience in Philadelphia.

The City of Brotherly Love was selected as a host city for six World Cup Matches at the Lincoln Financial Field, including a major Round of 16 match-up on the 4th of July.

The main FIFA Fan Fest will be held at Lemon Hill near the Art Museum, where fans can watch games and experience the World Cup even if they don’t have tickets.

Now that same energy and experience will come to three additional locations across Pennsylvania.

Governor Josh Shapiro announced three new FIFA World Cup fan zones in Pittsburgh, Reading and Scranton.

Each fan zone will be free to the public and offer live entertainment, interactive fan experiences and local food and beverages.

NBC10 spoke with Reading Mayor Eddie Moran about what fans can expect.

“We are gonna create right outside the arena on Penn Street a Block party atmosphere, activities, kids activities, local vendors, concerts and of course great food,” said Moran
