PITTSBURGH, PA — A popular Pittsburgh-area bar and tavern was destroyed in a blaze that erupted early on Thursday.
The fire broke out at Fox’s Tavern on West Wine Street in South Connellsville, Fayette County, was reported at around 3 a.m.
The Everson Volunteer Fire Company said the fire extended through the roof.
There were no injuries reported.
It’s unclear when, or if, the bar will reopen.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
