Part of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike is closed on Thursday night due to a crash involving two tractor-trailers. 

The crash occurred just before 7 p.m..

Dispatchers say the incident happened just north of the Lehigh Tunnel. 

Route 476 southbound was completely shut down near the Mahoning Valley Interchange. As of 8:37 p.m., one lane has been reopened.

One occupant is said to be heavily entrapped, according to county dispatchers.
