Stand for the Silent - 1

Crawford community members have planned a peaceful gathering for March 30 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The main purpose of the “Stand for the Silent” gathering is to stand together in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence and families who have loved ones who are missing or who have been killed.

Those who would like to show their support can join the community in front of the Crawford County Courthouse in Meadville Pennsylvania.

Alison Duiker, organizer and daughter of Lonene “Lonnie” Rogers, is inviting the public to join her as a way to honor her mother and those like her.

During the gathering Clinton Rodgers court hearing will be held. Clinton had admitted to killing Lonnie just before Thanksgiving of 2025. For decades Lonnie’s disappearance went unsolved and during that time her loves ones were left without answers.

“Over 4 and a half decades, my mother’s missing person case file stood cold on a police department shelf. Many families of victims literally BEG for attention on their loved one’s case. No one should have to beg for justice, as one missing person is not more or less important than another.” Stated Duiker, “Today I am taking a STAND for my mother and in solidarity with every family dealing with Domestic Violence, the missing and murdered. No one should EVER have to STAND alone. #Justiceforlonene.”
