Woman charged after knife attack against family in Allegheny County

A woman allegedly cut her sister with a knife while police were investigating her earlier attempt to stab her mother in Allegheny County. Authorities were called to a Wilkinsburg home on Graham Boulevard after Aniyia Goudy allegedly attempted to stab her mother.The victim told authorities she was woken up by her daughter who had entered her room and stared at her intensively, then tried to stab her.The complaint said the mother called 911 and moments later, officers were inside the home.Goudy allegedly walked downstairs where everyone was present and denied having knives. According to officers, she appeared calm and cooperative.Authorities say that did not last. Goudy is accused of lunging at her sister and trying to stab her in her eye. Officials say instead of hitting her eye, Goudy cut the left side of her sister’s face.The knife was wrestled out of her hand by family and Goudy was taken into custody, the report states. She has since been taken to be evaluated and is facing charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.
