No. 1-ranked middleweight Johnny Eblen takes on No. 7 Bryan Battle to headline the PFL Pittsburgh main card on Saturday night

The Professional Fighters League returns to the 10-sided SmartCage on Saturday night at the UPMC Events Center in Pittsburgh, with top-ranked middleweight Johnny Eblen (16-1) squaring off with No. 7 Bryan Battle (12-2) in the main event. Eblen comes off his first loss back on July 19 when he submitted to a rear naked choke from Costello van Steenis at 4:51 of the fifth round at PFL Africa 1 in Cape Town, South Africa, losing the PFL middleweight belt. Battle makes his PFL debut on Saturday night and last fought on Oct. 30, scoring a TKO just 48 seconds into the first round via punches against Nick Kohring at DBX 4 in Nashville. All of the fights are scheduled for three five-minute rounds.

The co-main event also features middleweights, with No. 3 Impa Kasanganay (19-6) facing No. 5 Dalton Rosta (11-2). Kasanganay stopped Andrew Sanchez with punches at 4:31 of the third round at the PFL World Tournament 10 in Hollywood, Florida, on Aug. 21 to stop a two-fight losing skid. Women’s flyweights precede the main events with No. 4 Sumiko Inaba (8-2) clashing with No. 8 Ariane Lipski da Silva (17-11). Inaba lost her last time out via unanimous decision to Dakota Ditcheva at PFL Africa 1 while Lipski da Silva makes her PFL debut coming off three straight losses, most recently a unanimous decision to Cong Wang at UFC 316 in Newark, New Jersey, on June 7.

The first two fights on the main card include No. 9 bantamweight Lazaro Dayron (9-0-1) against Jacob Thrall (15-7-1) and No. 8 featherweight Alexei Pergande (7-0) taking on No. 9 Julio Arce (21-6).
