One of the most outspoken former members of the Pittsburgh Steelers is defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko. Since his retirement from the NFL in February of 2025, Fehoko has been a great source of information on players and the team via his social media. It’s clear he’s a smart guy and knows his stuff.
Fehoko put out a one-round mock draft on X this week and we were fascinated, not only by several of the picks he made for other teams but especially for Pittsburgh. In this mock, Fehoko went way off script with Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon. This isn’t a name we’ve seen in many one-round mock drafts but would fill a significant need for the Steelers.
When it comes to the trenches, teams can never have enough good players. The Steelers added guard Brock Hoffman in free agency and we assume he will get a shot at the starting job but we appreciate Fehoko recognizing what Pregnon brings as a starter and didn’t get too caught up in draft grades and projections.
