BETHLEHEM, Pa. | Wind Creek Bethlehem announced Monday that it will re-open its casino on the city’s South Side on June 29.
Wind Creek Bethlehem closed to the public on March 15 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pennsylvania officials hope to allow 13 counties to move to the green phase of re-opening on Friday.
“We are thrilled to announce the reopening of our property on June 29th,” Wind Creek Bethlehem General Manager Kathy McCracken said in a prepared statement. “Wind Creek Hospitality has crafted a reopening plan that includes utilizing a gaming reservation system. This will help our team manage appropriate capacity in the building as well as providing a way to continuously clean the gaming floor throughout the day.”
Jay Dorris, president and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality, said a reservation isn’t required, but reservations are available for anyone who wants to go to the casino on a given day and time.
The reservation system will be open to gamblers Wednesday by visiting the casino’s website.
The casino will include temperature checks for all guests and staff and cloth masks or face coverings will be required for everyone. Guests are asked to bring their own mask.
Players who do not bring a mask will be able to get one at the casino for a donation Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley & Northeast PA.
Smoking will allowed in an outdoor area located in the north parking lot.
