PHOENIX — The Eagles will travel to practice with the Patriots in Foxboro, Massachusetts this summer, head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed on Monday morning at the NFL’s annual meetings.

Back in August of 2024, the Eagles practiced against the Patriots one day ahead of a preseason game at Gillette Stadium and they’re running it back in 2026.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Mike Reiss first reported that Sirianni and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel have had “preliminary discussions” about practicing together.

Obviously, with the ongoing A.J. Brown saga, there could be some extra intrigue for a joint session or sessions between these two teams this summer. With speculation swirling about Brown’s future with the Eagles, the Patriots have been deemed the most likely landing spot because of their need at receiver and Brown’s relationship with Vrabel.

Even aside from that, this would be a matchup between two playoff teams from 2025 and two teams who have been in the Super Bowl over the last couple of seasons.

Under Sirianni, the Eagles have placed an added emphasis on joint practices, often in favor of playing starters in the preseason. Sirianni likes the ability to see competition in a more controlled practice environment.

The full NFL schedule is expected to be released at some point in May.

On Monday, Sirianni said the Eagles will probably tweak their spring workout schedule but didn’t get into the specifics. With a new offense to install, it would make sense for the Eagles to get a little more time on the field.
