ALLENTOWN — The Allentown High varsity baseball team came up with single runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to slip past Ramapo, 5-4, Monday in its season opener at Dan Venet Field.

Damien Porras had two hits and two runs batted in for the Redbirds.
