People are coming together to celebrate a big year for Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and Visit PA, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s official tourism office, will host an official statewide 2026 Pep Rally.
This event comes as the Keystone State is stepping onto the global stage in 2026. Philadelphia is in the middle of it all with World Cup games, MLB All-Star Week, all of the America 250 celebrations and so much more.
The high-energy celebration will be held at Cherry Street Pier, with organizers of the NFL Draft, PGA Championship, FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia, MLB All-Star Week all under one roof.
Leading the pep rally will be Visit PA’s new official “hype squad,” and there will be live performances from DJ GetUp and entertainment with hip hop group Project Positive, double-dutch with Philly Girls Jump, and the West Powelton Steppers and Drum Squad.
People can also indulge in cheesesteaks from Angelo’s Pizzeria and a special ice cream bar with Irv’s Ice Cream; enjoy giveaways, and have fun with some of Pennsylvania’s most beloved mascots, including the Phanatic, Phang, Swoop and Gritty.
