LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. – Tuesdays ruling by the high court happens to fall on International Transgender Day of Visibility.

Cities in the Lehigh Valley are showing their support for transgender people in the community.

Allentown and Easton each held separate trans flag-raising ceremonies Tuesday.

The day was created to honor transgender people for their contributions to society and to raise awareness about fights against discrimination.
