READING, Pa. – Reading is recognizing National Autism Awareness Month.
The city’s declaration coincides with World Autism Awareness Day on Thursday.
The Pagoda and Reading City Hall were lit up in blue to honor the occasion.
Mayor Eddie Moran said it’s important to make sure every child is understood, supported and given the chance to succeed. He added that we should lead with compassion, patience and inclusion.
