(WJET/WFXP)– The Erie man accused of sexually assaulting and abusing a 10-year-old girl has pleaded guilty.
According to court documents, 33-year-old Kenneth Mayhue pleaded guilty to four charges, including aggravated indecent assault of someone under the age of 13, in court on Thursday and will spend at least five years in prison.

As part of the deal, Assistant District Attorney Shane Kaliszewski said Mayhue agreed to 5-10 years in prison, followed by 10 years of mandatory supervised release and will have to complete an integrated program for sex offenders while on release, along with having to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Mayhue pleaded guilty to one count each of felony aggravated indecent assault of someone under the age of 13, indecent assault of someone under the age of 13, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of a child. Prosecutors, in turn, agreed not to pursue another count of aggravated indecent assault.

Mayhue was charged in January 2025 after an investigation by state police into the victim reporting that Mayhue had assaulted them on at least two occasions.
His sentencing is scheduled for July 7.
