COOPERSBURG, Pa. – A new business in Lehigh County is bringing art and yoga together.

The concept hoping to make an impact on mental health and overall well-being.

Off of Rt. 309 in Coopersburg sits a new space for creativity and serenity.

“Our minds are going, going, going. When you have something that can make you so present focused, I think that is so special. That’s why I want to share the painting experience so people can grab onto that,” said Roey Ebert, the owner of Roey Ebert Art & Wellness.

Ebert has been sharing her art with Lehigh County and beyond for years.

“I’ve been an artist, I would like to say, all my life but I really got serious after college when my kids were born,” Ebert said.

Now she is inviting others to feel the benefits of a lifelong passion and one that she recently discovered. Both of them offering the ability to be present.

“I realized if I had that when I was younger or when I had my little kids, it would have been so helpful. It just helps me be more patient,” she said.

Ebert is combining art and yoga.

Three days a week she opens the art gallery for yoga classes, each class ending with meditation with a piece of art the focal point.

Art classes are also available, from paint and sips to teen groups. Workshops offer unique lessons, many of them with a focus on mental wellbeing. Ebert says she hopes that visitors walk away with tools that will help them deal with daily life stressors.

“I’ll be your guide. You don’t have to know anything beforehand; you can go off on your own tangent and do your own thing. I just want you to feel comfortable here and I want you to have a place that you do feel comfortable,” Ebert said.
