BETHLEHEM, April 5, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured on Sunday after being severely beaten by Israeli colonists at the entrance to the village of Marah Rabah, south of Bethlehem.
Palestinian security sources reported that a group of colonists attacked the home of Mohammad Hisham Shalalda and assaulted him, causing a fracture in his leg and multiple bruises across his body. He was transferred to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital for medical treatment.
The attack comes amid a noticeable escalation in violence by Israeli colonists across the occupied West Bank, where Palestinian communities have faced increasing assaults on homes, farmland, and property. Such attacks are often carried out under the protection of Israeli forces, contributing to a climate of fear and instability in the affected areas.
