A glance at some of the quick snacks and concessions fans can enjoy during the SeaWolves season. Classic items like soft pretzels, personal pizza, and chips and salsa.

The Erie SeaWolves are putting the final touches on UPMC Park as they prepare to host the Richmond Flying Squirrels for their home opener, and fans say the anticipation feels as strong as ever.

Supporters across the region have been counting down to Opening Day since last fall. For many, it’s a tradition they refuse to miss. For others, this year will mark their first Opening Day — or even their first SeaWolves game.

Longtime fans say the excitement never fades, no matter how many seasons they’ve been coming.

“On a scale of one to 10, the excitement is always a 10,” said John Wisniewski, a season ticket holder for the past decade. “As long as the weather cooperates, it’s like Christmas morning. Baseball is my first love. There’s no better Opening Day than baseball season.”

The team is also rolling out a couple of new food options for the 2026 season. Fans can expect upgraded personal cheese and pepperoni pizzas, along with snacks under $10 such as chips and salsa and soft pretzels with nacho cheese.

Merchandise is another highlight heading into the opener. The team store is stocked with new collections, including the Moon Mammoth line and the Flagship City Kitties gear — a special edition celebrating the SeaWolves’ 25th year as an affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.

With preparations underway and fan excitement building, the SeaWolves hope the energy surrounding Opening Day sets the tone for a strong season ahead.
