A 40-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday night near PPL Drive in Palmyra Twp., state police said.
At about 7:35 p.m., a small truck was attempting a left turn out of a parking lot on the north side of Route 6.
As the driver entered the roadway, the motorcyclist, traveling west at a high rate of speed, hit the truck, troopers said.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers noted the crash occurred during clear, dry weather, at dusk. They suspect the motorcyclist had been drinking, according to the release.
The incident remains under investigation.
