Johnson College’s Carpentry & Cabinetmaking Technology program hosted the auction Thursday evening.
SCRANTON, Pa. — Students at Johnson College in Scranton showcased their woodworking techniques for a good cause.
The college’s carpentry and cabinetmaking technology program hosted its annual auction to benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA.
More than 60 items, like chessboards, tables, and benches, were available for bid.
Students here tell us they’ve been working on these projects since August.
“It makes me proud to see them focusing on a good cause with this, and it also makes me very happy to see everyone coming out and rally for the cause by buying stuff,” said Daniel Black, Carpentry Student.
Last year’s carpentry auction raised more than $4,000 for the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA.
