A six-vehicle crash slowed traffic late Monday afternoon on a stretch of Interstate 78 in Lehigh County.
The crash occurred on I-78 eastbound in the area of Lehigh Street in Allentown, according to a post on X by Trooper Nathan Branosky, a state police spokesperson. Both the left and center lanes were blocked, he said.
511PA.com reported the crash around 3:45 p.m.
Traffic maps and cameras showed I-78 eastbound traffic was jammed past the Route 222 exit following the crash.
The crash was cleared and traffic was flowing again, Branosky said around 6:30 p.m.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
