Nate Worrell and Friends will entertain in a concert to be held Sunday, April 26, at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, 300 School St., Clarks Summit. The talented young pianist and FPC church member is a senior in the Ithaca College music program. He performs as a soloist and is the favorite accompanist for many of the top music students at the school. At FPC he has performed similar roles, subbing for the organist in church services and performing as a soloist and accompanist in church recitals. For this concert he will be joined by fellow Ithaca students, cellist Eli Jort and mezzo-soprano Anastasia Inglima, and by flutist Catherine Huhn, who recently graduated with her master’s degree in music from Temple University. Huhn has performed numerous times at the church as a soloist and in a chamber trio with Connie and John Weiss. She will perform works by J.S. Bach and Taffanel. Inglima will sing selections by Massanet, Debussy and Obradors, while Jort is featured in a Cello Sonata by Chopin. Worrell will be accompanying them on piano, as well as performing a nocturne by Chopin. The concert is open to the public free of charge, with a free-will offering taken to help defray the cost of the event. Meet the artists at a reception held following the concert.
