SCRANTON, LACKWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Scranton road is now reopened after being closed for a day after a hole opened in the road, caused by a sewer line break.
North Main Avenue was closed between Providence Road and Green Ridge Street after a sewer line caused a hole to open in the road.

According to Alana Roberts of PA American Water, the emergency repairs are now complete.
The completion of repairs is in time the weekend, as that section of North Main Avenue will be used as part of Sunday’s Scranton Half Marathon.
