Mercantile Hall, Burlington, Wis., was the setting Oct. 31, 2025, for the wedding of Kerry Maureen McCarthy, Madison, Wis., and Cory Gentile, Dunmore. The bride is the daughter of Susan and Kelly McKay, Madison. The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Renee Gentile, Dunmore.
Jenna Shaw officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
Katie Lepak, Arvada, Colo., sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Maddison Warde, Brookfield, Wis., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Liz Riley, Fairwater, Wis.; Belle Giggard, Delaware, Ohio; Kylie Lafayette, Madison, Wis.; Kristyn Schafer, Waukesha, Wis.; Michelle Khan, Holly Springs, Ga.; and Ashley Kopczynski (deceased, in remembrance).
Bryan Gentile, Peckville, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Jake Padula, Archbald; Dakota Miller, Peckville; Marc Perry, Dunmore; Max Flurie, Norristown; Richard Guiton, Philadelphia; TJ Knox, Philadelphia; Joseph Woolcock, Tunkhannock; and Joseph Khan, Holly Springs, Ga.
A reception was held at Mercantile Hall, Burlington.
The bride is a graduate of Madison East High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Madison Oshkosh and her master’s degree in higher education from Georgia Southern University. She is employed by Kappa Delta Sorority as a campus support manager.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Dunmore High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science and master’s degrees in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania. He is employed by BIOKINETEX as an implementation manager.
The couple met while both working for Georgia Southern University.
The couple, who are planning a trip to the United Kingdom, resides in Oregon, Wis.
