One injured after Dunmore apartment fire

One woman was sent to the hospital after breathing in too much smoke when a fire broke out at the apartment along Jefferson Avenue on Monday night.

DUNMORE, Pa. — A fire broke out at an apartment in Dunmore on Monday night. 

Crews say they were called to the two-unit apartment along Jefferson Avenue after flames broke out on the second floor around 9:15 p.m. 

One woman was sent to the hospital after breathing in too much smoke, and another person inside made it out safely. 

There is no word yet on the woman’s condition or the cause of the blaze.
