OBITUARY
Donald J. Harvey, of Kerhonkson, NY passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 87. He left behind a legacy of strength, service, and devotion to those he loved. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sheridan, parents Marshall & Hilda and his brother Jack Harvey with whom he shared many cherished memories.
He will be dearly missed by his daughters Colleen Tyson and Karen North, her husband Jay and his grandson, JD a U.S. Marine. He is also survived by his sisters Theresa Daley, her husband Bob, Marsha Carrubba, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his blended family of his wife’s children, grandchildren especially Jett Capson, and great grandchildren.
Following his graduation from Jermyn High School, he honorably served his country as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961, stationed at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. Afterwards he worked for Ford motor company Mahwah, NJ and then as pest control in New Paltz, NY. He was an avid pool, dart and ping pong player.
A life well lived, Donny’s legacy will endure in the stories shared, the lessons passed down, and the love that remains.
Burial will take place at Valley View Memorial Park, 1162 Lakeland Dr. with Military Honors, Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 11am.
