Hospitality students at Lackawanna College gain hands-on experience by running “Wisteria,” a spring-themed pop-up bar.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Students at Lackawanna College are taking their lessons outside the classroom with the school’s latest pop-up bar.

“Wisteria” at 409 Adams is run by hospitality and culinary students from Lackawanna College. It is one of two pop-up bars the school does each year.

The menu features options for meat lovers and vegetarians, such as lamb sliders and sweet potato gnocchi. When it comes to cocktails, each one has a spring theme, such as strawberry kiwi refresher and pink petals.  Most of the cocktails can be made into mocktails.

All of the proceeds from the pop-up will support Lackawanna College.

Wisteria will be open every Wednesday and Thursday night through May 13.
