SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A new building is going up in downtown Scranton, and it’s designed to train the next generation of cybersecurity workers. Construction is officially underway Monday night for Lackawanna College’s new Center for Technology Innovation.
The college broke ground on its 17,000 square foot facility back in December.
Local musicians teach the next wave of artists
The school says the building should be open by this summer, and will give students all they need to fill the millions of open cybersecurity jobs across the country.
