Five Erie firefighters took their skills from the station to the spotlight, competing on a national game show.
The firefighters recently traveled to Belgium and Amsterdam to compete on the high-energy game show The Quiz with Balls.

The show features teams answering trivia questions while trying to avoid being knocked into the water by giant swinging balls.
Dion Larese, one of the firefighters, said they were contacted by a friend at Fox to join, and they happily said yes.
“When the cameras are on, you’re a little nervous, but then you kinda forget a little bit because it was the five of us up there, kinda playing, having fun a little bit. Just like we’re at a firehouse,” said Larese.
The Erie team goes head-to-head with a group of nurses in what they say is a fun, but competitive match-up.
The episode is set to air Monday, April 20, at 9 p.m. on Fox, and will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.
