PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Pride Month is less than two months away, and Philadelphia is taking this year’s festivities to a bigger stage.
Philly Pride 365 announced on Tuesday that its 2026 Pride Festival will be held on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
The festival is normally held in the city’s Gayborhood.
The organization says the new location is due to the growth of Philadelphia’s pride celebrations. Attendance has grown from 47,000 people in 2022 to 147,000 in 2025.
It’s also meant to coincide with America 250 events, acknowledging the LGBTQ+ community’s role in our nation’s history.
The event will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
