Shirley Mae Hertzog
OBITUARY
Shirley Mae Hertzog, 89, of Leesport, died April 10, 2026 at Tower Health-Reading Hospital, West Reading.
She was the widow of Paul Hertzog who died August 15, 2015.
Born September 17, 1936, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Lewis W. and Pearl A. (Ulrich) Miller.
Shirley was employed with East Penn Manufacturing for 23 years.
She was a past member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, New Jerusalem.
Surviving are her two children: Terry L. Schaeffer, husband of Donna L. of Leesport and Cindy M., wife of Scott K. Yenser of Wilmington, NC.
There are also two grandchildren: Tracy L. Kreiser, wife of Dale and Justin R. Yenser, husband of Jessica, and a great grandson, Kyle D. Kreiser.
In addition, she is survived by her two sisters: siblings: Barbara, wife of Robert Johnson of Greenwich Township; and Betty Musser of Topton.
Shirley was preceded in death by three siblings: Robert W. Miller, Dale L. Miller, and Helen Fair.
Services will be held Thursday, April 16th at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be at Maidencreek Cemetery.
