Archbald Borough Council voted in new member Madonna Munley as three other members resigned on Wednesday night.
ARCHBALD, Pa. — Archbald Borough Council voted in a new member to fill a vacant seat, and three members resigned from their seats.
Elected councilwoman Madonna Munley will replace former councilman Tom Aniska, who resigned at the last borough council meeting. This comes almost a month after members voted to oust the council leadership, whom residents blamed for the increase in data center proposals. Munley tells Newswatch 16 she is ready to get to work.
Elected Councilwoman Madonna Munley says, “I feel great, I really do, I’m excited to get to work, and I’m looking forward to listening and working with the new council majority for transparency that perhaps was lacking in the past.”
Former president, vice president, and president pro tem all resigned at Wednesday’s borough council meeting in Archbald.
