Journey: Healing Together will be hosting their second Cupcake Showdown on May 2 from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at their location on 201 West 11th Street in Erie. This event brings together local bakers, businesses, and community members in hopes to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives.
Voting entry is $10 in advance with group discounts available, tickets $15 at the door. Participants of the event can vote on their favorite cupcake giving the baker the title of Best in Show.
Proceeds of this event will directly benefit Journey: Healing Together which is a nonprofit that has been continuously dedicated to providing mental health & wellness resources, education, and support for individuals and families.
Local businesses can support the event by sponsoring any of the competing bakers or the event itself. Sponsor opportunities range from Sweet Supporter at $100 to Golden Whisk Sponsors at $5,000 or more. The business will receive perks such as social media recognition, event signage, and more.
