The Hurricanes trying to keep their unblemished divisional record intact get right after it in the first inning as Brogan Perreault hits a laser to left-center for an RBI double.
Two pitches later, Christian Hackett delivers a two-run single and the Canes would lead 5-0 after one.
In the bottom of the second, Hackett is at it again with an RBI double to left. Liberty would add on and stretch the lead to 9-0.
Freedom battled back with a five-run fifth inning to cut the deficit to 9-5, but the Canes win 12-5.
